nice, good job with the normal maps. They give him some nice detail.
I think I'd like to see some more color variation, or different materials. Alot of it looks the same right now.

obson: yeah i may try and make another texture for it. i used a light map on it so maybe i will try not using the light map and see what i can do.

looks really tight! i agree with adding more detail/contrast/colors to the texture. some designs, maybe just little detail things. like the metal looks a little worn, maybe make it just a bit more shabby. but awesome job all the same.

i was wondering whats a nice way to cage the lowpoly model with the high poly one? for some reason when i export the displacement maps sometimes i get this weird effect on the edges. any clues?

typhus22- thats probably to do with your edge padding and/or AA setup when rendering, not the cage setup. could be wrong though.
barto9- nice model- didnt too much like the design of the high poly, but its transition to low poly + texture really makes it. nice
