View Full Version : ambient occlusion bake?

Hey,
does anybody know how to do an ambient occlusion bake using the Batch Bake (mental Ray)?
I've tried but i keep getting streaks on my model where the geometry lines are.
and i can't seem to find any answers in the help files either.
It's for a low poly game character.
any info on this would be great.
or if you know of any tutorials on other ways to achieve an ambient occlusion bake then that would be great too.

I think you'll need to try RayBake and Raydiffuse (http://www.lightengine3d.com/downloads/plugins/rayDiffuse/rd_docs.html) plugin for maya from Mark Davies !
