CGTalk - Cartoon character

Well, it's a cartoon character, he still needs a lot of work though. He is gonna have huge hands, and his fingers are gonna be squared (still working on the hands). He's also gonna be wearing big shoes (to match with the hands). Tell me what you think till now. Any pointers/tips ANYTHING is highly appreciated.

can u post any sketch? about the model, i think its a little flat and too much alonged, but like i see its only a sketch....

Your cartoon character doesn't look very cartoony :hmm:
Maybe we'll have to wait until you finish the head or the hands.

The proportions also seem a bit weird (i know cartoon characters need to have weird proportions, but you know what I mean)

Anyway, as pcbehmer said, why don't you post a sketch?

If the character will be so long, maybe it should have a little hump, something like the stupid pose of Goofy ;) otherwise it will look like an alien (it depends on the style you want to give to it, of course).

you see the thing is, if you want him cartoonish you should longer the legs and make em thinner or at least not that human like (he's a cartoon remember?) keep up the good work
