I've been a Maya user for a while now, but i havent figured out a way to get "snap to curve" to let me move a vertex along a curve without stopping at the next vertex.... anybody know a way around this? I used this feature alot in a different package it was very useful.

-thanks, lincoln

maybe a better way of saying it is that i want the vertex to follow the trajectory of the edge, even after the edge stops... any mel gurus out there want to tackle this?

select your edge, then use Duplicate Surface Curves, then use extendCurve, tune the distance attribut in the channelBox, then you can snap your vetice on that curve with the snap to curve command...

hope it will help you :)
