Modo 201 is going to have a render engine of its own. And I guess Luxology hinted at NAB that they might spin it off as its own product, along with their new painting tool(ala BodyPaint.)

Don't know if anyone cares, but there are some pretty impressive images and demo movies on Luxology's forum concerning the render and paint tools, not to mention the new modeling tools.

Definitely something I will keep my eye on for adding to my tool kit.

good to hear!
its definitly gooing in the direction that all good r.-engines will serve all good 3d apps-nice:-)
