I am wondering if anyone here has successfully gotten aqsis and liquid up and running I am having a few problems:
I've got aqsis installed (winxp), and I think it's configured properly, However when I try to render one of the example RIB's aqsis just sits there. Infact it doesn't seem to be responding to any of the commands I give it, even -help is unresponsive.
In the aqsis command line window I am typing this: aqsis cylinder.rib also tried just cylinder.rib am I not providing enough information?
and my trouble with Liquid :
also getting a Error: No plug-ins loaded - "The specified module could not be found". error in maya 4.0 on winxp I have followed the instructions on installation as best I could. I set the MAYA_SCRIPT_PATH variable to the directory where the mel folder that came with Liquid was unzipped and set the MAYA_PLUG_IN_PATH to the bin folder under the liquid directory. Lastly this line completely confuses me as to what it is intructing me to do: Lastly add InstallationDirectory\bin to your path, this will ensure the deferred rib generator renders will be able to find liquid.
what is the path that is bieng refered to? Do I need another enviroment variable?
