how u guys fix anti aliasing maya rendering depth of field! I need a very blured back ground, u know? i keep getting the pixelated edges!! please help me, i know someone somewhere out there knows the answer, if u are that special someone, give it a shot, help a fellow animator, lets make our comunity a better place, so our children will perhaps have a brighter tomorrow, enjoy a sunset, eat an ice cream with out radiation?

I guess you are rendering with Maya Soft? If it's the case, it's hard to get decent depth of field with as it's just a post effect. If you can afford it, use Mental Ray and see the difference. God !! And everyone all over the world, holding hands and singing in unison !! FIN.

nailgun: if you read the thread here you`ll find the possibilities given from mental ray renderer. i had the same brainstorm. vray or mr. after reading here I ....mmm mr has a lot of power that I didn`t know about :) check out the custom ctrl shaders from francesca for improving render time.
