i have heard about pose 2 pose animation. is this what NEW POSE in traxeditor is for?. any good tutorial about it out there?
i have made a skeleton to the charakter i make 1 default pose and chose new pose. but i dont understand what is happending.

Using poses in the trax editor to animate a character is what you are talking about? :surprised

Pose to pose animation is when you key the important poses of your animation first, then add more poses inbetween to perfect it. It's an animation technique, not a function in a software. It came from 2D traditional animation, and was developed and perfected by Disney.
The other technique would be Straight Ahead. That's when you just key a frame at a time, and flow along instinctively.

Keith Lango has a great tutorial on Pose to pose animation, specially useful if you're using maya.
