I was working on a bigger scene, when one of my test renders inspired me to color and overpaint it. I used Blender to model and rig it, but since I spent half of the time with painting in Photoshop, I submit this as a 2D image.

a cute little fella indeed. wouldn't want to punch him.
is he related to the one under that mushroom in your last port? ;)

my only crit is that the wings could have used a thin outline or may be some more texture on the edges. but i think that would be too much comic styled for you, would'nt it ;)
