View Full Version : how do you flatten in max?

hi firts post

but any way how do i flatten in max i got a row of polys but thay dont match up right
.
. . . like that but the is lots of them so i cant just move them all to the same hight. I all so have some thay go up donw i use align but it dont work right .

convert to editable poly, select the polys you want to flatten and click "Make Planar" in the roll-out.

Max5 has a new modifier called automatic flattening
or you can download chili skinner and texporter

i tryed you idea but it just make the polys go / on an angel

If you want them parallel with an axis just scale them on that axis only. eg. If you want them to be level with the ground just scale them on the Z axis.
