View Full Version : UV image
hannibar 01-04-2003, 11:55 AM Are there other ways to make an UV-map into an image in lightwave other than screen-capturing it?
e.g. when I want the UV-image to be 1024*1024, without having to rescale.

Export to EPS... Now you can pick any size you want when you open it in Photoshop..

Yeah, export to EPS :)
Just be aware though, that if you export as a 32-bit TGA, then it puts the grid in the alpha channel, which then looks pretty odd when it gets applied to the model ;)

I like using UV Imaginator to export shots of uv maps. Gives you options for file size, line color and more.

uvunwrap2 works great as well. You determine what sort of project type of you want and it will create a template based off that at whatever size and file format you want and its free. :)
