Hello all,
Recently I have noticed that I have been getting headaches more often and more intense as well as my eyes hurt in the mornings or after a long day in front of my now 5 year old monitor... I am sure that my monitor is to blame and was wondering what other people have for monitors and what do I look for in terms of specs for a monitor?? I know nothing about them sooo specs like this:

Video Clock 230MHz typically
Viewable image size 406mm x 305mm (20" diagonally)
Colour Temperature 9300K, 6500K, 5000K, user defined
Warm-up time 30 minutes
Power Consumption 120W, 15W standby

mean nothing to me since I don't know what is good and what isn't.....

Ed

I wasn't really sure where this thread should be posted....If this is the wrong place then my apologies.

I am using a 19inch(I think) cube I bought for about 50 bux. It refreshes at 85hz at 1280x1024 and has a .26mm dot pitch, and it is good to me. Only had those kind of problems when I used monitors with low refresh rates (<60hz) and dot pitch over .26mm. I was once told to look for these two attributes when buying monitors, at least for crt.
