Painter, roughly 45 mins I'd say... still trying to get the knack of trating liquid inks right

Anyhow, i tried to go for 25 but ended on 35 and I think that it all depends on who has the ring :D

lol Vizon! Been gone all day and thought I'd check before sleep, but now I'm going to have dreams of dwarves slaughtering ewok's all night.

Very funny thread, wish I could comment on all of them but who wants to hear me go on about laughing a lot?

FridayEve, great lighting.

Alice, your painting confirmed that lesson I learned in school about how people generally look at the eyes in a portrait first then explore after that. I looked at her eyes and only then realised that she was holding the ring :)

Haha, great work all, some sure made me laugh...

Great painting Alice, not bad for 35 minutes! Time always seem to move faster when painting, you'll be dabbling one moment and before you now it an hour has past.

Hey thanks!
Its a bit of an adrenalin rush to do things with a timer, but on the positive side, one has to think things through and know what to do when starting. I guess I need that practise :)

Paintbox, btw, love your Fifth Element reference ;)

Will edit and post when completed.

EDIT: Like, oh, 20 minutes or so, can't ya tell? lol I just don't have the time to spend over this today, but I thought it was silly =D

Hey Alice, great work! Love her!

Great work from you too, FridayEve!

Xyrinx - I love yours, but you are out of date a little, Peter Jackson has slimmed WAY down and is quite trim these days - hardly looks like himself anymore.

I love that movie, cool that you noticed it :)

Alice : Maybe you could add the glowing letters mordor to it, to make it really the one ring. It looks really great.

I've been waiting for a Feebles reference, Darksuit. Awesome. And it would make sense that one as destinguished as Yoda would apreciate theater.

Thanks Drone,

I saw the topic and I had to. I know i shouldn't but i just had to. It was just too wrong. For those who have not seen it... I am truly surpirsed that anyone let me make, let alone direct a film afterwards. If you don't believe me, watch it for yourself. =) It's just wrong...

wrong ,i tell you wrong.

Haha, this is a sneaky 5th element reference, just above my avatar it says "the gun, Ray, the gun!"

I was actually surprised someone noticed it being from the movie...I love that movie to bits :)

-castor-:Now that's pretty unique! I like the idea of how they are against each other with puppets ;)

khanumnaow: You really do know how to create intense actions! I love your selection of colors and the sketchy ideas, it suites it!

nards26: I love how you created those highlights, its very smooth :) Funny idea!

darksuit: This made me laugh :) Is that George Lucas "stoned" in there?

Well, here's mine. It's pretty sad since it took me around 2 hours and 15 minutes. I had to practice a bit of skeletal systems (well, im not sure if ive improved)

I tried to get the idea of star wars and Lord of the rings
(They my fave trilogy [ well, sixology for star wars..?] They are very money!)
