Hi, iīm working with this character and when I apply the skin modifier, working at envelopes level, I canīt get this zone right.

Is there anything to fix that ? i mean an angle deformer or something-

thank you in advance.

The hips are a difficult area to skin properly. Your best bet is to use morph angle deformers and a good dose of patience. You can read all about how to use morph angle deformers in the online help (you're on your own for the patience :) )

The Mesh work is also important, Have a wireframe shot of the area??

I would overlap the envelop between the hip bone and the thigh to ease the crease and a lot of vertex weight adjusting.

Yep, I have to agree with LFShade, you need quite a bit of patience at this stage. Think about this way... after the skinning stage, you can finally start on your animation! That's an incentive which always works for me!

Yes... like CTRL+X saids, the underlying wireframe structure is quite important. Do you have an image?

hope that helps.

Thank you very much for all your help :)

yes, i. think the prob. is the wireframe structure, I will have to make some arrangements on the wire structure, its to low on detail at that area,

thank you again.
