i know this just the beginning of the piece but i really like that eye. i'll be keeping an eye on the progress!

Well it's looking good feature wise, but I think either the eye is too big or the nose too small. Kind of hard to tell like this. Very neat shading though. I wouldn't even dare a reproduction of that sculpture, it's haunted me ever since childhood :p.

lol, You better watch for art critics. They tend to get upsett if they hear both david and michaelangelo in one sentence. They might go for bodily harm. :)
