Wow, a surprise late entry.
Generally great standard of modeling, though I think you need to use more reference, the proportions seem a bit wrong. Either the shoulders too broad or the head is too small for them, and the legs seem a little short, also the facial expression is more of a 'are you looking at me?' than one of determination. It's casued by a slight lip curl you've added which isn't present in the sculpture.

here is some progress shots. i havent started any of the detailing yet, i am still trying to hammer out porportions, i have next week off so hopfully i can devote a good chunk of time to this.

sadly E3 took over my life the last few days of the comp, i still hope to finish, too bad i didnt get to before the deadline. hope to finish in the next week. can i still post it here? or should i post in the wip crit section?
