Hi, another question here:
I´m modelling a character and i want to use morphs for facial animation... and i want to know whats better, keep the eyes and teeth and gums as a separate geometry of the body or keep everything as one mesh and what difficulties bring me this at the time of apply textures?

Thanx in advance and sorry for my horrible english...http://forums.cgsociety.org/images/icons/icon10.gif

Howdy,

Well, I'd say definitely model the eyes separate, but the gums and teeth can go either way depending on how realistic the character model is. The more realistic the model, the more I'd lean towards the teeth and gums being part of the mesh.

Having the teeth and gums be part of the mesh is my personal preference.

Adios,
Cactus Dan
