View Full Version : Camera Set to Renderable Not Showing Up
kelasa 04-29-2006, 06:15 PM I set my "Shot Camera's" Output Setting to Renderable.
In the Render Globals, my Shot Camera selection (For the Camera I choose to reneder to ) is not showing up as Renderable.
When I test render a shot it comes from a completly incorrect camera. I have no other camera's setting set to Renderable.
I've made a cool scene and animated the camera to my liking. I don't want to have to make a new camera.

In case you didn’t know, [renderable] is added to a camera in Render Globals only if more than one camera is selected as Renderable. In such cases you scene will be rendered multiple times from each renderable camera and the different renderings will be saved in separate folders with the name of the cameras in the images directory of your current project.
Also if you create a new camera or change it to Renderable while the Render Globals window is open, it won’t update the changes until you reopen it.
Also the camera chosen in the Render Globals controls only the batch renderer. Render view renderer when started from the status bar or the render shelf, renders the last used view panel in Maya 7, and in the older versions you must click in a camera‘s view panel to select which camera will be rendered.
