View Full Version : 2 warning messages in VRay log
pixel9 04-28-2006, 08:36 PM Hi!
Today, while rendering an architectural visualization, I discovered 2 warning messages being displayed in the VRay(1.47.03) log-window.
warning: Scene bounding box is too large, possible raycast errors.
warning: Invalid surface normal (0 0 0) for "Box01", using geometric normal.
Does anyone around know, what these messages mean?

and another one, after I wanted to make use of distributed rendering:
VRay exception
UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: Rendering Image
Last marker is at P:\dev\LocalVSS\vray\vrender\src\vray.cpp, line1318: VRay::getMaxBgColor()
...
and only black buckets are rendered by the 2nd computer.
If I click on 'ok', vray-log will show up "Render host 192.168.123.174 failed"
:shrug:
