Best daily...

687 - Cgkoko's Charon, hilarious idea :)
686 - DeeVad's monk, lovely colours & form
685 - rawwad's knife, brilliant lighting
684 - GSmiley & cypherx, I can't decide which
683 - sivart's lolly, I laughed about the expression all day
682 - Zeitwolf's lonely, perfectly captures that feeling for me
681 - Vizon's toilet... despite the fact that it's not the best of memories *shivers*

Sketch of the Week - Cgkoko's first taxi entry (the Athenian)

Level Up - I can't pick yet, haven't been back long enough

Fastest Draw - her0d's "you know it's love..." entry wins for me

...and we've got to give some sort of recognition to GSmiley for the very needed feedback for everyone. Wow, the time he's put in deserves mentioning.

well,

687 - CGKoko´s Greek cab driver (and he was the only that captured from the inside. Great expression)
686 - Vahn
685 - Rawnwad
684 - Vizon (I still think it´s a sketch)
683 - iDoodles (no ice age on your mind?hehe)
682 - Goro
681 - Vizon (great aproach, lousy memory)

Sketch of the week: Rawwad, in 685 amazing.

Fastest: Lady Medusa in 685 too.

Level up: i don´t know...i´m a new guy too....

Oh, and thanks a lot to Sylanya and GSmiley for the feedback!
I´ll sure stick around!!

Cheers!

687 "Taxi"
Vison (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3488751&postcount=26)
Good sketch. Love your sense of humor.

686 "Rorschach Blot"
Zyrinx (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3478143&postcount=4)
This is probably the closest representation of the tame version. Honestly though, I saw compatible parts in an adult-themed picture. Reference here (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3477748&postcount=1).

685 "when you lost if for the first time"
howlinghorse (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3476293&postcount=15)
Great painting with lots of motion. I empathize with the horse. What a neat topic too. Whoever came up with this idea was not only brilliant but probably looks good in tight jeans!

684 "Michelangelo's The David…"
cypherx (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3473343&postcount=22)
Great anatomy and neat fleshy interpretation.

683 "excess…"
jeroentje (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3468671&postcount=10)
Cute and reminds me of this (http://www.weebls-stuff.com/toons/badgers/).

682 "Lonely…"
Goro (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3465803&postcount=16)
I felt the loneliness just from the robot's countenance. Painting is great.

681 "You know it's love when…"
Vizon (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3462138&postcount=6)
Yep that's love.

SOTW – howlinghorse (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3476293&postcount=15)– when you lost if for the first time. Great emotion is stirring in this painting.

681 - You know it's love when
Her0d (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3465384&postcount=8) - Nice sketch.

682 - Lonely
lhz (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3465384&postcount=8)- What I really like here is the atmosphere. A sort of positive loneliness, living somewhere deep in the forest like a hermit.

683 - Excess
Jeroentje (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3471761&postcount=23) - nice work Jeroentje.

684 - David
Cypherx (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3473343&postcount=22)- You gave David life by giving him some flesh, good work!

685 - When you lost it SOTW
Rawwad (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3475892&postcount=10) - Tough, and an honourable mention to BrutalMonk, as both are nice paintings in their own right, yet Rawwads entry is more in tune with the topic visually.

686 - Rorschachs' Blot
Audit (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3480963&postcount=23) - This one truly stood out, captivating, some good brushwork. Overall I thought it was hard not see some angry firegod in that blot.

687 - Taxi -
CGKoko (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3482759&postcount=16) nice one...taxi's are all about the drivers (and some really are like this)

I didn't vote before because I didn't really "get" it... but here goes. There were a lot of good entries all around, and if I haven't said it before, I'll say it now, I love this group to bits.

"Taxi" -- Cgkoko. Anything that gives me a good laugh has to win.

"Rorschach Blot" -- I couldn't decide on a winner in this topic. I think I have a mental block for it because when I was younger, the psychologist asked me what I saw, I kept on saying "they look like masques", and I read my file later (tsk tsk, me), and it said my answer proved I was repressing feelings, when really, they all DID look like masques damn it.

"When you lost it for the first time..." -- Ham-e. Once again the one that made me laugh the most gets my vote. Laughter seems to be magic that way.

"Michelagelo's The David..." -- You know, I really can't decide between Ham-e & Vison. I love prismacolour markers, and that drawing really stands out to me, but I'm also intrigued by David's hand, and Vison really captured it well.

"Excess" -- Thany. It's obviously brilliant work, it couldn't not get my vote. Very, very well done... in fact, this might be my top fav out of all the categories from this week.

"Lonely" -- Goro. I almost want to weep for the poor guy & I love that sort of brushwork, quite envious of it, really.

"You know it's love when" -- Vison. I've said it before, but I'm a fan of a good laugh, and she seems to know just how to trigger it.

Best Category Sketch:

681: Her0d - Nice and simple sketch with a wonderful concept.

682: twistercash - Fantastic style and meaning work very well together towards the subject of "lonely."

683: Thany - A nice portrayal of excess, particularly topical for most of us on these forums.

684: cypherx - Really amazingly rendered anatomy!

685: DekuBoy - I'm a big fan of simple concepts, and I have on numerous occasions asked someone if they have seen my pen while it is hanging out of my mouth...

686: Her0d - Simply beautiful (as much as a burning village can be...)

687: Cgkoko - Absolutely hilarious charicature of a taxi driver. SOTW
