I am having a problem rendering displacements with mental ray. Apparently it has something to do with my mentalray memory. I dont even know where to go to try to deal with the problem.
been pulling my hair out for days over this. i got the character's skin displacement to render along with his facemask and pants. then i added the shirt into the scene and tried a render and it worked but needed some tweaking. after the tweaks then it wouldnt render at all.. i went back to the old file (with the untweaked shirt) and it wouldnt render that one again for some reason, i'm about to go crAzY!...considering setting fire to the computer... that might fix it :)
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Snakeman,

You should increase the memory to 88 as they in the log file. Or you could use "-memory 0" as it means use all available memory.

it could also be your displacment settings

are you using approximation editor
if yes
what is the settings

in apporximation editor i have it set to spacial, min 3, max 5 with .1 length...i may try to tweak those to see if i can get a break
