Hello,

I'm new here but I want to get into CG animation screenwriting (as well as directing). Is there anybody working on a CG short that needs someone to write a script for them or to direct it? Just trying to get experience and to help out other members here. So if you need someone to write or direct your short, please PM me. Thanks.

PS. I can furnish a sample script upon request.

Experience is what I'm mainly after right now. :) Haven't even thought about money at this point. ;)

hay there
i'm just finishing my final year degree film. but am looking for a new project as soon as i have finished as there are some festivals that i have in mind to enter.
i'm looking for more practise but im not realy good at scripting, so would you like to collaborate on a short?
i was thinking of something along the lines of a 90 second short animation that involves a dramatic story, basic set so that the character animation can be focused on entirely as this is what i hope to enter into the industry as.
i was really inspired by a 4mins take on the new game heavy rain. this short invovles a character who is trying out for the main part in the game

I hope your interested, and im sure you have some of your own ideas. the first festival i want to go for is at the end of this year, its called 'Depict' and the hand in is around september time, and i think we could produce something that could blow people away. We can get people to be our voice actors, you must know people as i think the voice should be American not British. well hope this has caught your attention, i'll PM you as well to let you know about this thread. well speak soon hopefully

hey cheers for the quick reply.

Did you have a story in mind? im not a writter at all and if you seem to know what your doing inthat area. this festival 'depict' is a really well known festival. you have to ahve a piece that is 90seconds long. i was going to enter my degree piece in, which is about a guy working late in an office who decides that he's had enough and leaves for the evening. as he's walking down the office corridor on his way home he comes across a vending machine, and decides to get a drink. and this is when the story starts. he has a 'battle', a battle in loose terms. basically he ends up inside and then the next morning a co-worker hear's a noise and goes to the vendor and basically the guy pop's out screaming and in turn frightening the co-worker. its a rough story and hard to explain as it was all meant to be a character piece.

as i said im not a writter im an animator and was still wondering whether you have a short story piece that we could work on together for festivals? the animex one looks good too.
