This was a design for the conceptart.org creature of the week.
The Ioapathieanea dolichocephalus. A creature of the planet Etheeniakala. Also known as the most useless creature in the universe. It serves no purpouse, produces its own food and because of its unique defense mechanism, the "Iopath" has no natural predators. Its 6 eyes allows it to see any natural predators approaching. THis tirggers it to expose its nerve bundle. It communicates that the migratory group might be indanger so all Iopaths reveal their nerve bundle. Together they empthiccally transmits apathy. People that come into a prolonged contact and strength of empathic waves of the Iopath haven known to stopped breathing.
