Hi,
here's a medium/low poly model i've been working on.
It's a yamaha motogp bike,
still got a lot of stuff to do, many more pieces to add to the rear,
got to build the whole front end and flesh out the sides more.

Mainly a modeling exercise so no plans to texture at this point.
I'm aiming for 5k tri's,
currently it's at around 3k.

lmk what y'all think,
advice is welcome as well.

haha, cool,

oh yeah also,
what do you guys think about the polycount?
definetely going to be over 5k.
i'm wondering if I can push it even higher and still be realistic, by nextgen console standards?

that should be fine, 5k is managable these days.

only crit i have is that the tank could be cleaned up a wee bit, unless your going to normal map it, that would take care of the smoothing errors

oh I know what you mean!
that black triangular shaped side piece especially, it's pissing me off.
i was tinkering with that today, and still not sure what i'm going to do with it.

But i'm pretty sure i'm going to add more polys/detail to the fueltank area before the model is finished.

first off is fleshing out the rest of the piece though.

thanks again.

another update

modeling 99% done
was going to be a model only model,
but after playing with the colors/materials on it for alittle, I think I might
go ahead and do some textures, at least some light ones!

anyways, lmk what you think so far
