Looks pretty good!
only thing that pops out at me,
is his ear: for 1100 polys I wonder why it's so edgy/jagged?
but yeah lots of crinkles and weathered skin,
very hobo'ish

your texturing is great, i love it.
however for that poly count i am sure the silloette could have been improved vastly aswell as maybe not cheating on the ears by covering with hair:P
not that i am great myself... i am quite crap at modelling heads:P

Cheating by covering the ears, glandolina?
Lol. I'd like to know how that's cheating, dude.
Due to this particular bum's unkempt hairstyle his sideburns grow over his ears.
*just like in the reference*

reference? there is no reference?
not that i can see?
well i meant that alot of people cheat out becuase ears are widely considered the hardest part of the head to model so they cover them with hair to avoid modelling.

Generally ears arent modelled for game models, aside from superficial flat polys.

I cant leave that like it is!
->Generally<- it depends on what kind of game, what kind of look and so on you are aiming at.

Exactly.
For the most part it isnt done.
I cant think of a game where the inside details of ears is actually modelled out with geometry instead of normal mapped.

You really should post references... Especially since this was almost entirely photo-referenced.
The model looks pretty solid, though. Good work.
