I need to duplicate a lot of objects along a path animation. The problem is that I keyframed the object on top of the path animation and when I use "Duplicate From Animation" it's ignoring the transformations. I wonder why anyone would want that ?
I donno anything about scripting and I'm a noob in XSI, but I tried to make a little script by copying commands from the Script Editor, and just duplicating the object on every frame manualy and then unparent so it sticks to the position of that frame.
But unfortunately the CopyPaste command needs an object name and off course the numbering is different every time I copy an object.
So maybe someone knows a better way to solve this ?
thanks,
edit: hmwahahaha !! just tried entering "current" instead of the object name and it works...it's too easy :-)
