Pickman 01-03-2003, 12:51 PM Hi there and happy new year to all !! was still playing with procedural this morning and was wondering if it 's possible to script your own procedural shaders in Max5 ??? could someone points me out any related thread if it is indeed workable=)

hey jmonkey2000 , I've installed it, tried the wood2.sl example shader in the material editor for instance and the only thing I was able to get is a red material, no matter how things are set ??, there's no specification in the documentation....any idea.:p

Nt used it myself, try a post on the discreet forum, your more likely to get a repsonse from there.

You could also try downloading Maxman lite and the AIR demo (unlimited, but renders are watermarked). Maybe you could even get Maxman to work with 3delight which is entirely free, or just grab BMRT... http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bmrt/ in the "files" section.
