Initially i start to model my male character with a box, which i delected all the polygon. Then i use the create tool under the polygon panel to create each point base on the the drawing of my character design to match the shape..
This still a begining stage.

After i happy with the half face then i use mirror tool to reflect for another side and then attach them together, then i will weld the points to make them look normal.

i use linkxform to modify the shape of the character face. I use the same technique for most of my morphing animation. And my next step is to model the other 2 characters, while i still haven decide on what should they wear. And how the vehicle should look like.

After shocking by the wonder of zbrush, i decided to learn this tool and try it in this contest. So far this is what i been created.
To create a tree in 3d max, is much more harder compare with zbrush, what i found out is, in zbrush everything u draw can be a template for future usage, and also create multiple unique object base on the same specs. For jungle, the tree can then further adding detail easily, bend add segment. etc.. if i want to do tt in 3d max, i have to slide the polygon, ffd modify the shape and then readjust the overall angle to make the modified part look normal, in zbrush all u need to do is to change the zsphere. simple and fast, my next step is try to use what ever i been modeled and put it inside zbrush to test out what can i do with it. Gd luck and have fun.

That's an awesome model of the head. How long does it take to model the head?

That's an awesome 3d model!! How long does it take for you to model the head?

The head i roughly use 2 to 3 hrs for initial modeling, facial expression set up and adjusting is ard 2 hrs, but this wont be the final, i am thinking of using zbrush to create the detail and bring more characteristic to the character.

Hey, that's exciting....very interesting application of Z-Brush...have never seen a tree made in it before, makes a lot of sense and looks GREAT! Hope to see more soon, whether or not you have time to finish this contest. Good luck!
