Hey everyone, just thought I'd give you all a sneak peek on something I did for the BattleGrounds mod before going on Xmas vacation.

700 faces
2 512x512 textures (finals at 256x256 for HL)
5 hours to complete (from model to final texture)

Woah great stuff only 5 hours? Any way you can make a tutorial on how you went through the steps creating that texture?:bounce:

Thanks for the feedback.

While it's true that your texture is far more optimal, I did it differantly to make sure that there was less of a repetitive look to it. As far as the textures go, the wood was derived from photos. Everything else, I hand painted. I'll make a tutorial on it something though.

BG mod for half-life I assume? I freaking love that game!
Maybe is not very polished right now, but it's still awesome :)
Anyways, great work, I wish I could model like that. Keep it up!
