Today, when I was lingering around the internet, I found this challenge and I feel I will improve a lot here. So I posted my entry. I need a lot of suggestion to finish my first piece.

The future is unknown, but she has to go. This girl, her name is lunania, is going to start to travel alone tomorrow to do what needs to be done. She has to left her families and her lover. The white handkerchief is from him, which is a proof of love. But she holds it tightly to show her determination to leave. Sitting on the tree under the moon, she has a mixture feeling messed up in her mind. She knows how to fight, but she doesn´t know whether she is good enough to finish her mission. It is cold up here but her blood speed up though her body. She...... Such a sleepless night but only one thing is clear: go!

OK, now the poetic description has finished. Everything left is the computer work. I want to show the feeling I described. I hope you can see something until now. Somebody help me to give me some feed back? A single word will be appreciated.

It's pretty good, but the image itself does not look as one... It looks like 3 seperate images were stuck on a canvas to make one image... Sure if that was your intentional look, then go for it, but if not, try work on it some more!

On the brighter side I love the depth you have given the arms with the shadows used! Maybe put some highlights in there to make it pop out some more!!

Well done so far!

Thanks very much Mason! Do you mean the girl, the moon, and the tree are too independent? You are pretty right. There are no interaction between these three layers. I will try to merge the girl into the dark more. And make the feeling of up in the sky more distinguish. Also I will try to make more details for the bright arms. In order to make a real "international look", it is nessary to put both collision and combination, right?

Thanks again!:bounce:
