Hello everyone . I'm trying to understand how AE treats with 3d channels . For example i'm trying the following :
I have rendered in 3DSMax a scene containing 5 balls , each one behind the other , and have given different object id's to each one of them . I want for instance the 3rd ball to have a glow . How do i do that ? I've tried with 3d channel extract effect to extract the object id's of the image and then added a glow but nothing happens . What am i doing wrong or what am i missing to do ? I have tried that with the image being saved in rla and rpf format . Thanks .
