This is a photograph of my hometown called Bergen(pop250 000) in the very cold land of Norway.

I modelled some skyscrapers and put them into the centre of the city. I guess my fellow citizens would be pissed at me but I think this would help make Bergen gain international attention:beer:

Tried to give it a futuristic doomsday look. anno 2078

cool :) great render. though it would be a pig of a walk to the elevators from the foyer (or from the elevators to the floorspace). Funky design though... and you're right it would annoy the residents as they're kinda a bit harsh against the surrounding traditional architecture, but monumental buildings can indeed bring international attention.

Very nice! :)
I would certainly have wanted to see those buildings in real life!

I'd say that's quite a nice composite:)

If you had elevators like the shawconfrence center in Edmonton canada (its build on the riviers bank and is one of the many interestingly designed buildings) which go up at an angle..

Hahahaha... I've stood right there where you modeled the skyscrapers... can't say I would like to see them there... the city is too beautiful to add such things... it would detract from the great mountain views.... although maybe if they put a cable car to the top of the buildings they could pretend it was another mountain... Good work though!!!

PS... did you grow up in Bergen?
