Hi Grzesiek,

Hey that is pretty cool, kinda makes me want to model my own critter and see how hard it is to keyframe. Thanks for posting!

The twitchy abdomen is nice! I have observed flies 'combing' thier face and wings and 'wringing' thier 'hands' as well and I think it would be cool if the bugger wrapped more wing(s) under his body while cleaning and if he pulled his 'forelegs' over his whole face, including the upper antennae.

BTW - I turned up the brightness because I suspect the compression has darkened the original values.

Also some tiny hairs would be sweet,.. Oh &.. the slight camera movement is great!

I noticed you were not getting much feedback today, perhaps if people saw the lil bugger they would react, rather than let you slide down the list.

Some tight shots would be interesting too!

Great! Don't know if it would work, but would suggest a very slow truck in after it has landed.
Really liked the MANTIS movie BTW. :)

Hi!
Thanks for comments ;)
I'm still working on animation and textures, but the tiny hair made with sasquatch lite really is impossible with that complicated model, so I'll have to render it with separate pass when the animation is finished.
I do all modelling and rendering in Lightwave 7 and animation in Messiah.
here is a sample from the rig in Messiah

Oh, and thanks for posting a screenshot from animation :))))))

Actually, the animation of legs are well done. I would give little more weight as the insect impacts as it lands. A camera truck-in with some DOF would make it I feel. Nice overall tho. Ed--

Here I have added he foreground and some hair with sasquatch Lite plugin. I had to use a simplified model for this pass.

thanks for comment guys ;)
