Yeah it's good work
I like the little first one :D
Good character designs by Hennie ... I like the first one alot.
You did a fine job coloring them also. Maybe a bit too saturated in color on the second one, but not too bad. I'd probably work the background more or at least get away from using b&w gradients. Any color would be better I think.
Also, if you want to attach multiple images you can host your images on a free site and use the image tags. More info can be found here (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=32123).

thanks for the comments so far.
yes,the colors are sat. on the second one ar'nt they. (ponder) they were less saturated but i wanted to make the light source appear very harsh,as if the creature was illuminated only by a very strong, bright fire infront of it - unsuccessful i suppose.oh well, next time ill get it.
black and white gradient - point taken, but i did think at the time that it allows the colours on the characters to really show themselves.nothing to detract from the characters, and find it to look particularly neat with the 'hamster'.
again, next colouring i do, ill take note of those points and improve where i can - thats what its all about !
DID I MENTION THAT I AM GOING TO MAKE THE 'HAMSTER' IN 3D.
i think its going to be awsome - sasquatch for the hair and everything.:bounce:
