You probably have multiple UV sets, check under UV Editor > Image > UV Sets or in the Hypergraph.

Thanks man. When would you use multiple UV Sets for an object?

AFAIK multiple UV sets are used for
- layering (basically like in Photoshop)
- convenience (create a map for each part of the geometry instead of one big map)
- optimization (splitting things into different maps can save memory space)
- mixing tiling and non-tiling textures

id like to add, creating seamless blends between tiled textures, on difficult surfaces like trees or cliffs in a landscape. or in your case a cylinder un wrap for the volcano, and a a plannar for the ground then use a mask for blend.
