Hey Everyone,

Thanks for the 1 vote so far I need more votes. I have one person saying without blood another saying with blood and I am on the fence. lol

By the way this picture is actually far larger than this around 3,000 x 2,000 resolution. Photobucket is suppose to accept images up to 1 megabyte but its not going my way with that so their site keeps resizing my image. So just so you guys can see a bit of detail I did an up close of the skin on the forehead.

The gore is a good addition and I think you could probably drive it up a bit more than what you've got there, maybe by adding some shape to it as it rests on the skin.

Hey Guys N Gals,

Well that makes 2 votes for more blood. Here is a pic with more blood on the mouth as requested.

Looks good, yea the blood on the mouth helps to sell the rest of the blood better.
I guess we are all sick people who love to see blood

The skin looks good too.

3 Votes for Blood 1 for No Blood. The Bloods are Winning :) ;) I will keep the more blood on the mouth if everyone wants it.

Hey Guys N Gals,

Well I went for even more blood on the chest. I had a look at the post on my other computer that is using a CRT and I was shocked to see that the image was so dark on the chest that you couldn't hardly tell that there was blood on it. This picture is just not meant for a CRT. I made it on a Flat Panel and my color pallete is based on a higher contrast range. I think some of you guys wanted more blood anyhow.

Loving this... Just 1 little crit, I'd like to see the flesh actually exposed with more contrast, with deep 'scratches', instead of the slight fading into the exposed flesh as you have right now... Kind of hard to explain, I guess... I hope you still understand it though. ;)

Great job!

Hey Stephan,

I am not sure I know what you mean by scratches but maybe I do. If you are talking about the recessed skin around the exposed flesh as scratches then I do. Well the problem would be on the face in the cheek area if I went much deeper then we would be passing through his cheek altogether and seeing through it. Same goes for the nose area and around the eyes as you quickly encounter the skull or cartilage. The neck I could go deeper and did. I plan on at this point turning this into a 3D character so it is important for me to keep the concept realistic enough that it can actually be modeled and animated. If I misunderstood you please tell me otherwise.
