We will try to post one of these topics once a day for your enjoyment.

Remind them that they can flip it around too, because you see different things from different perspectives:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v371/Vizon/Reference/Paint_Blot2.jpg
These are the rules:
* You have 35, (count them 35!) minutes to do your sketch. IF you go beyond the
assigned time limit , you have to post WHATEVER you have done after the time has
expired, along with the FINAL drawing.
* Also, I will add a new voting category, called THE FASTEST DRAW.
* Post only your FINAL piece on this thread, based on the topic on the thread.
* RESOLUTION : The image can have any aspect ratio up to 800 x 600
* They can be done on any medium.
* If you wish, you can add a brief text description about your piece.
* Only original compositions. No "tributes" or plagiarizing, unless is it an integral part of the challenge.
* The topics will be posted every day between 10:00 - 12:00 am US EST.
* The artist also has to post total length of time it took (Thanks Clanger for the idea) and program used.
* Only final pieces can be posted on the thread. They must have been done AFTER the topic has been announced.
* Any piece caught breaking the rules will be taken off the thread.
* The topics will be picked at random from the list on this thread
(The author will be given credit). So guys keep them coming.
*You can add multiple entries, but please dont post WIP (Unless you intend to update them). NEW RULE!
* Ill post ANOTHER thread to quantify and track WHO has participated the most on these threads.
Good luck
-Roberto

I saw a sleepy cowboy. Now that I look again, the blot looks more like Captain Hook.

Here you go, my first piece in some time . Sorry it's a bit blurry, well it's a sketch.

Wow, with thousands of suggestions I'm surprised to see mine come up so soon. It's neat seeing everyone's interpretations! Here I'm sticking with my original idea that I can't stop seeing in the top version (I see a baboon in the bottom one).
I know, kinda sick and twisted. That's my brain I guess. Must have been a REALLY bad dog is all I can say. Or else this guy really hates his owner.

Oh yeah - Painter, ~45 min (I say about 45 because I went over a few minutes because my new layers kept coming out white instead of transparent. Do technical difficulties count as part of the time it takes to paint I wonder...)

That I'm obsessed with violence and animals maybe? That's not too far off. Though I do have my limits on violence. I mean though I had fun with Mortal Kombat fatalities as a child, I don't draw people ripping out each other's spines for fun. That'd be my brother. ;D No really. Whereas he's obsessed with zombies and gore fests, I prefer some sort of emotional significance to my bloodshed. You know - Gut-wrenching story-telling drama (for the most part).

NICE ONE VAHN, THATS A FUNNY INTERPRETATION, NICE PAINTERLY USE OF BRUSHES TOO (whoops caps lock on!) It looks like you used painter rather than photoshop to do this piece, anyway good work.
