hi everyone

:bounce: i've uploaded a script on http://www.motionblur.it that allows to shatter an object into 3D fragments, like the maya effect.

Hope someone will find it useful.

that super. i didn't try it yet but there is nothing like this for xsi anywhere. if it's what you say it is then it might be of a great use to me soon. thank you.
btw is it for xsi 2.x or 3.x?

oh and by chunks you mean differently shaped planes or it actually blows an object into 3dimentional pieces? if 3d then how do you go about texturing the generated sides of the chunks?

thx again

thanks for the compliments, btw it's for 3.x as it uses some new functions for accessing subcomponents faster. yes the chunks are 3dimentional pieces. while uv are preserved in 90% of the situations, the texturing of the generated sides is not generated, because the new generated internal polygons have a 0 UV area, so u simply need to unwrap their uv coords and put them planarly on a texture.

darn it. i can only use 2.03 here while in college :( i guess i will give it a go in future projects with 3.x
