Hi everyone and good luck for this chalenge !
The image's background is very common, a stupid group of teenager want to discover a legendary piece of art,The Pink Frog, and will have to go threw a lot of deadly dangers in order to do it. The image take place when they left the town. They are innocent, overconfident and reckless...

I have clean the drawing and add many details. I want to make a world a little weird and funny for this story. Any crits are welcome

I love houses build on trees. I used to build lot of when I was young. I think it makes the world a little more funny, and also make an atmosphere of adventure.

This is it. I have started to draws people of the town. I have a lot of fun in drawing them as strange as I can, in order to make them in harmony with the world wher they lived.

Wow, I like it a lot. Although the idea is simple, the drawing is beautiful. What I like most is the color and the clean strong line in the concept sketch. Also the pose of the little crazy happy girl is really good. It has a nice perspective. But I feel there is something wrong with the upper left arm. Since it is the most eye catching part, may be you should pay more attention to it.

Anyway, I like it and waiting to see the result.

I think the problem you are having with the arm is that the hand is too small to be in effect of such an extreme perspective.
Oddly I hadn't even noticed it at first glance had it not been mentioned.

To be 'nifty'-picky on the entry... there is sort of an integration problem between the bicycle and the poor bird.
It looks uncurtain if the bicycle is actually trampling the bird or if it is behind it (More vivid in your post 8 (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3490057&postcount=8)).
I don't know if you have these on separate layers or not... but would it be possible to be able to move them around or anything?... Or maybe add some additional depth blur or lightness to the bicycle?


I agree with a comment above... you have managed to make a simple concept look amazing!
So vibrant and full of energy.
It would be great to see this image completed!

BlackDidThis : I change the color of the bird in order to seperate it from the bicycle. It's a little bit overdo, i think i will have to work on it later, like the arm for exemple :shrug:
I start to work on the background, and I hope i will finish it on time.
