i ve a q? abt mentalray .. now is the image sent by me is mentelray

eating up my time , moreover i dont need any caustic/ or reflections.

Is there any alternative to Mentalray render ?!

you should use a sahder called Use Background color which is transparent and handles the the shadows only.

Hello there.

It is Mental ray. Right now is taking about 1.5 minutes per frame and if you turn down the rays on the raytrace shadow to something like 1 and the sample ray in the FG to 100 you can get 15 sec render. In my book that is pretty fast.
but as for your final render you should be able to affort at least 5-10 minutes per frame renders any ways just an opinion. :wise:

5 sec renders. is so july of 2001!.
