I have DVDs burned with my DVD recorder and now I want to use the footage back to premiere to edit it. Notice that it's not piracy. I have my own stuff burned in a DVD, but I want the digital footage back to edit it.

What software should I use to do it?
(from my burned DVD to a format I can edit in a edit program - Premiere)

windows, osx or linux?

There are a bunch of dvd rippers/convertors and tutorials here:
