Noob? I think it looks great so far the leather seems a bit to shiny the bumpmap could also use a little touching up. Keep updating most people on this forum just lurk dont get discouraged.

Nice to see another Blender user showing off some great artwork! It looks very good sofar!
I'd have to see more renders to give better crits, because I can see only the front right now. I agree the leather could use some work, but all the other textures look nice. Mabye add some drit/rust around the edges of the metal to give it a worn look.
Hope to see an update soon.

Hey EternalRest.
I think the model is great cant find any crit on that.
The materials are off too a good start too, I agree with TraceR maybe beat it up a little make it look worn, maybe not beat up but at least its had some use.
Also leather mostly has a wide specular, so maybe dulling down the intensity would make yours look more leathery.
The last thing I could find was maybe the metal on the armour isnt quite reflective enough, on the shoulder pads when they turn perpendicular it seems to turn a bit plastic, try uping the reflections.
But great work post more updates soon! keep it up.

That makes two of us :). Really great job you've done here too!
My crit is not a very important one, actually it's more of an opinion. Generally when i think of elves I imagine lightly armed and armoured people not heavy clanking armour, BUT .... please do not change a thing because it is excellent. Besides elves are not real so they can be whatever we want them to be, true? So once again great job, well done !

For being a rookie with only a year experience is pretty damn good right there. I really have nothing to add in the way of critique.
Will this be added to a character or is it just going to be a suit of armor?

Tnx for all guys.
The char will be this.Is a "old" project and i think that i'll use some parts of this char...not much time for remake 1...maybe in the next project.
I hope to make a good 3D model because my PC isnt good..AMD 1200 -.-" i can't use a lots of poly :(
So..maybe this will be the char (if i have time i'll remake 1,if not i'll use this)
