I just wanted to add that these are NOT new shorts, though they are new to iTunes.

These include the Academy Award-nominated Chip an' Dale, Donald's Crime, Lend a Paw, Pluto's Blue Note, and Squatter's Rights.
These were released in 1947, 1945, 1941, 1947, and 1946 respectively.

Nice... Can't beat the old stuff. :) But surely not very good value for money. I bought several of the Disney Treasures DVD sets for £5.99 a piece over at play.com. On average about 30-40 8 minute shorts on them.
Transcoding them for my PSP makes for excellent commuting!

Sigh. After 60 years, Disney should have had plenty of time to milk these. These should have been released into the public domain, not iTunes. :(

Give it time. Look at the amount of time between the Cinderella, Peter Pan and Bambi movies, just to mention a few [insert noticable twitching here]. Maybe Disney hasn't gotten around to looking at all of it's materials' afterlives yet.
