Hi!

I know it's a pretty ugly looking sketch,and is probably not very clear.

And I know that I don't have much time to finish this painting(and make it look good enough to compete with others),but I wanted force myself to do something so I can improve my skills.It is quite possible that I might never end this work because of time shortage,but I'll give it a try.

The idea is like this:
The guy in the middle is some kind of an artist and he's just got a good idea and is about to start drawing.
And all the other colorful stuff(water,fire,animals,plants,human body parts etc.) are just spurting out of his brain.

The whole picture is far from being the final composition,the colors and the creatures and...actually everything has to change if this is going to be a nice image.I'm still not exactly sure about the concept.But I don't have a better idea at the moment.So I'm posting this to "get a little social",to communicate and to hear your thoughts about the concept.You're free to criticise the amateur sketch too,but even I don't take it seriously...

PS: The title will probably change,too....

Well...

After I got all these positive reactions(*!?) to my concept idea I decided to keep working on it.(*But I can't complain about that because I also didn't make any comments about the works of others,I simply didn't have time for it.Sorry...Actually that "concept sketch thing" was my first post ever in "cgsociety",so I'm new and unknown here.I also know that my concept sketch was disgusting,so it's no wonder noone replied to my thread.)

I'm not sure if anyone is actually reading this but I'll keep talking about the picture a little bit anyway.
You've probably noticed the difference between two compositions.I gave the artist kind of a "Leonardo-look".I removed some cheap creatures and changed the environment completely.

Now I've got 3 days to finish this thing(Actually about 30 hours).I assume that it's not gonna be super-photo-realistic or anything like that,but I hope to have something beautiful with rich details and colors and some other nice stuff like that.

Feel free to criticise but I can't promise to reply them,since I have to work really fast.But I'll surely read them.

PS:I don't exactly know what "line art" is supposed to look like.I hope this image will do it.If it's not enough please someone warn me.

I kinda have the feeling that this challenge is an illusion and I'm finally gone mad and I'm dreaming all of this and actually noone else but me is working on a "Journey Begins" project and I'm competing single player and I'm offline and so onsona sona on...
No..noo..Just lying.
I don't really feel like that.
But it's still strange...and entartaining..and understandable...

I'll surely win all the community prizes!Yaay!

Other than that, I keep following the procedure,this here...I'm coloring it...still in progress.I don't really like the color combinations but I still thing this is the way it should be.
It's gonna be a chaotic,ugly painting,but it'll consist of beautiful things,or maybe not...I don't know... we'll see.

I made some changes yesterday and I have still more things to change.
I hope I can finish it.And I know all my fans here hope the same :)

I just changed it a bit more.I guess it got better.The fire is still disturbing me but I already have a lot of other work to do , so I'll deal with it later if i have time...

If I can manage to finish it in 2 hours or sth. this is what it's going to look like.

Umm...

Guess I missed the deadline by a few seconds...:D

It wasn't finished anyway...It was just a better looking version of my "Final Color" post , and it was a little bit less incomplete. But since I already didn't have a chance to win anything because of various reasons, it's not a big deal.

Although I didn't communicate with other challengers , I must say that I've learned a lot of things about illustration with photoshop. This was my first real project with PS. This event helped me to motivate myself to work and learn.Therefore I want to thank everybody that has anything to do with these challenges.

And again, although I didn't communicate with any of the other challengers, I really appreciate the way these challenges work,that everyone has to post WIP articles and so...This is really a productive and profitable way for everbody.:thumbsup:

I'll probably take part in the next challenge,too.And I plan to start working a little earlier next time...

PS: If anyone still wants to send me a "Boxx Technologies 3DBoxx 3200" , "ATI FireGL V7100" or something like that and/or has an intention to buy my amazing concept skeches for a million bucks(or 10?) , please don't hesitate to mail me.
