This project is a self-develop project, not commercial use. I've finish the modelling of the car (seat not yet..hehe..) These images are part of my modelling progress and I'll post another few views later on after I've render it.
One help needed here... I'm using Lightwave 7.0 and I'm trying to animate the F1 car to run on a F1 circuit. But I've two problem:
1. Animate the tyre with the consideration of the speed. (Don't tell me manually animate it, I believe there is better way to do...hehe.....)
2. Out door lighting. I need somebody or some tutorial for outdoor lighting.
Thanks and comments & advice are always welcome. ^.^

VERY NICE MODELING!
... but I agree with ThirdEye that something looks corky with the rendering... maybe it's just the lightwave renderer, or maybe you didn't set the render-quality to the highest....
I loved the wire-frame progress animation... I think it should be made customary to post stuff like that :)
keep up updated

Regarding the speed of the tyres, there are two ways you can do it, depending on how much fuss you want to make. One way is to make the rotation of the tyres a follower of a null, and then slide the null. It will take a little bit of tweeking to make sure the null is going the right speed when your car gets to the bends etc, but it should be nice and pain-free in terms of admin.
Otherwise, I could give you a run-down on expressions for this type of thing, but will probably be easier via email, so drop me a line. (also, check out my lava lamp - also lightwave ;-) ).
Very nice by the way. Only thing I wonder is whether the surface would be quite as metalic. It looks awesome in the renders, but you seem to be going for realism...
Just a thought ;-)

Regarding your comments about my F1 surface, I don't quite get what you mean.
You Lava Lamp? where? URL? link? look towards to hear from you? BTW, just visited your site, honestly, FANTASTIC man! ^.^

In regard to the tire material, it picks up a lot of grime and oil on the track surface, and it also does get melted down/chewed up a bit.
You should use that image + others as reference to create a color map, and then desaturate it, adjust contrast and use that as like an oil/grime map for the specularity and then finally take that map combine it with the original and blend between the two to create a bump map...
Hope that makes some sense :p I'm going to be doing a tire soon so i've been playing around with the material myself :)
