04-21-2006, 12:57 AM

04-21-2006, 07:43 PM

04-22-2006, 03:17 AM
The same some changes
04-22-2006, 03:28 AM
Love th e surfer dude, I think the troll is a bit too uh... gross lol. But I guess it wouldn't be as gross if you layed off the slimy look perhaps. Then it's just be... :surprised freaky.
As far as the last update, I'd say give him some action have him chasing a cyberjunkie struggling over some garbage cans... sommin like that at least heh :) .
Keep it up.
04-22-2006, 04:45 PM
I tjought about wath you said but he is alredy at the end of the screen. so if he is chasing sombodey he woud not be visable in the image but i did some changes to get the feeling that something is happening
04-22-2006, 10:40 PM
More work done more lines and details.
Please crit on perspective and color.
04-22-2006, 11:07 PM
With the heavier lines I think the strokes might need to be cleaner.. or sharper, they seem to draw the focus of the image at the moment.
04-22-2006, 11:26 PM
I now, its a daunting task when you dont have a tablet.
I think it will be esier then.
Good point anyway
04-22-2006, 11:30 PM
Thats with a mouse? Ouch!
04-22-2006, 11:33 PM
I had no choice im kind of broke at the moment!
04-22-2006, 11:33 PM
its not very good for the hand ithink
04-23-2006, 12:50 AM
I like this scene - I am brand new to all of this, but to me the perspective looks pretty good, I don't sense any glaring mistakes anyway. The colors might be a little stark, but that might be intentional, so that's ok. Can't wait to see more refining - and  that you are doing this with a mouse!
04-23-2006, 01:50 AM
Here comes a bit more refining
04-23-2006, 01:53 AM
Well i dont know wich of the two latest posts look best.
04-23-2006, 01:55 AM
Thank u by the way.
04-23-2006, 01:55 AM
Yeah it's a lot more interesting right away, nice work. I think the pool of blood is over the top though. Might wanna change that into smudges of blood.
04-23-2006, 01:57 AM
Yes u are right about the blood
04-23-2006, 01:59 AM
btw, you could also consider using a free imagehost, your attachment space might run out soon, if there's still alimit that is. They've taking leaps and bounds regarding services here on cgtalk!
try www.photobucket.com or imageshack.us, imageshack allows you to post thumbnails but I'm personally more fond of embedded images, because you can see straight away what the deal is. :)
04-23-2006, 02:10 AM
He thanks alot, this feels much better.
How do i resize the image proportionaly.
04-23-2006, 02:11 AM
WHat do you mean by proportionally? :) Your welcome btw...
04-23-2006, 02:14 AM
Maybe this is to big?
04-23-2006, 02:17 AM
So you dont have to guess when you drag it down, so it doesent get to wide or to thin or squashed.
04-23-2006, 02:18 AM
its not a problem because i thougt tou had to fit the image in that squre where you post.
My english may be confusing sorry
04-23-2006, 08:03 AM
I'm sorry was painting my QUeen of beasts, completely lost touch of the world.
In photoshop there's a ticker box, where you specify 'keep aspect ratio'... but I think the guideline is about 700 pixels wide giver or take. I'm not sure how high though, but I go with about 1000 pixels max. Which is a bit high I think.
Btw, are you using a mouse? the lines seempretty hard curved, very sharp angles.
04-23-2006, 02:11 PM
Yes i use a mouse, thanks
04-24-2006, 02:43 AM

Here is an update ..pleeeas any crits comments from you pros out there is very appriciatedhttp://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i36/adrianospm/guy3copy.jpg
04-26-2006, 10:09 AM
not a pro, but hey...the face is looking good. It would be good to see you get a lighting scheme set up - it looks quite flat and 'universally' lit at the moment. I think the face is pretty well constructed anatomically - I believe once you have some dynamic lighting you can afford to bring out the structure much more, with deeper shadows and brighter highs. Plus, I'd love to see some context! Looks like he is surrounded by pillows at the moment :D keep up the good work.
04-26-2006, 12:26 PM
He is sunken down in pillows
04-26-2006, 07:23 PM
Thanks for your advice by the way
04-26-2006, 09:57 PM
no problem...post some updates soon!

i have a tablet now a lot more fun!!http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i36/adrianospm/gubbe_tablet.jpg
04-28-2006, 07:38 PM
Was about time man!!! Very much an improvement, looks like you got a good grip on the anatomy too. I'd change the surface contrast and texture of the fluid if it were me. Add higher contrast and alot more trasnparency.
Looks like a big jump, I wonder what you;ll come up with next.
Maybe now you can properly help out on anatomy... :p
04-29-2006, 12:35 AM
nice going adrianospm! I like the way you've set up the lighting. My advice would be...push it further!! This piece would be really great (and creepy) with some dramatic lighting. I could see the piece going to almost black in the liquid, with specular highlights and secondary lights to bring out the features of the man's face. That depends on what mood you want for the thing of course. Now you have some good values down,I would also ask what look are you going for? If you want a rough, gritty atmosphere go for some aggressive textures and strokes, or you could break out the blending brushes and go for a smoother (more realistic but less expresssionistic) effect. Just some ideas. Keep it up!
04-29-2006, 12:44 AM
thanks for the advice, i think the dark liquid thing sounds great.
heres an uppdated reworked cyberpunk cityhttp://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i36/adrianospm/Cyberpunk_.jpg
04-29-2006, 02:08 AM
sorry about the bad anatomy lessons, i could see it and not explain it and with a mouse not draw it either
05-01-2006, 05:35 PM
ive done some morehttp://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i36/adrianospm/Cyberpunk3copy.jpg
05-01-2006, 06:23 PM

05-01-2006, 06:30 PM
this is looking pretty dang good so far, one thing though, maybe the stop sign should be red. or if it's not supposed to be on, maybe the letters should be black
05-01-2006, 07:11 PM
thanks, good point!
05-01-2006, 08:16 PM
here is the changeshttp://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i36/adrianospm/Cyberpunk3copyxcvb.jpg
05-01-2006, 09:25 PM
I like it so far a big !
What are you going to do with the ground/wall under/next to the guy? What color were you looking at? I would love to see you push the details of this piece even further, it's got a great feel to it.
05-01-2006, 09:41 PM
Hey don't worry about it. Better than no help at all. :D Making good progress I see, have you tried to blend out things more smoohtly? It might help you establish more depth in your scene. It requires more work though, and maybe you're waiting untill a later stage.
Keep going!
05-02-2006, 12:38 AM
Thanks for the comments, i have a tendency to get stuck when i get to this stage in the picture. I want it to flow fast but its hard when your dealing with fine detaile but i guess youre right both of you il finish this one!!!
05-02-2006, 12:44 AM
im just improvising with the textures and detail the whole pic frankly is rather improvised i dont have any fixed idea about how it should turn out. Im trying different colors and the ones i feel fit together and so on. I do think about warm and cold colors and opposits but sometimes its just confusing hope this makes sense?
05-02-2006, 01:11 AM
jm totaly see your point about the blending i havent looked at it for a few houres and when i saw it now it all made sense thanks!
05-02-2006, 11:47 PM
