Hehe why not clean your brain by doing other stuff than 3D? ;) But I'm like that too... in school I sit all day doing 3D and when I come home I do my own stuff... I must watch out so I don't get stressed out.

Anyway, I don't see why this couldn't generate commissions from a paint manufacturer. Not very advanced modeling ;) but nice enough presented and some tasty regions in the pic. Did you render an occlusion pass? In that case it's very well done, none of this "original colors drown in occlusion grayness" that you have to watch out for. But I guess you didn't.

Keep it up and don't stress out! :)

Hi, I like it so much, it's very...how to say...it's refreshing!
Maybe too much reflections on the desk.

bitBrain,
for sure it's not a very advanced modeling..just five minutes of my time :) a bit more for lithging(20 minutes) it's a good way to wash my brain after 3week of hard days works...
but don't worry tomorow i go put my dumbass in the sea(diving) just to wash all my body :D
no occlusion layer, no post prod...just DOV on photoshop..i put a ZDEEP-layer on alpha chanel and adding a lens blur effect.....

Angel_Ice,
i agree, it's refreshing...candys colors on a white background..classic :)

First off, great work. I love it. The look and feel are great. I find myself drawn to images like this, probably for the same reason that you made it... variety and getting away from the normal projects. There is another work that was on the banner and is in the Choice gallery that is of a bunch of drafting markers... your work reminds me of it. You might check it out...

It has a playfullness with color and perspective that I think you would appreciate.

fyi, your piece has made it to my desktop wallpaper.

I don't know anything about ambient occlusion... i've seen the breakdowns in demo reels with it, but haven't dove into it. The render quality is great... DOV and other elements are really working for you. I might like to see a little lip on the bottom of the cylinders where the tin would be pressed... but I'm really just TRYING to find something to tell you. Great stuff.

Very nice, this reminds me of the thread spool render that we saw a couple days ago. Its a little simple, but it looks great. Keep it up!
