i'd say your doing a great job but you already know that when you compair yourself to others...so the only things i find disaggreable are the fold between the upper and lower arms right below the bicept...usually people are to picky in their comments saying that things don't look right based on the perfect character in their minds, this fold in the arm however seems out of step with human ?muscleature (spelling)?...the other thing is that the skin is to evenly colored. a huge leap for this model would be darker cheeks and forehead, bridge of the nose, you know like light has seen his skin before.

anyway your a leap or two beyond me (not for long though) so take anything i say with a grain of salt.

Thanks for you comments people. I have made few major fixes.
Textures in clothes are yet basic lightwave procedurals and i will fix them later. Hair is done with sasquatch-lite (bundeled with Lw).

I have updated the link.

Here is the latest version. Still hobby in progress... ;)

I sure hope that i had faster computer, so I could finish him someday. Render time about 3minutes, with 3 (crappy) shadowmaps.
Cheers!

Thats pretty nice, great work! the "stubble' is a little far-spaced and a bit too regular/polka-dotty, but man, it's an incredible job all around.

Thanks for your comments everyone!
Facetexture is created in photoshop. Painted over the UvMap. Diffuse, bump, specular all different maps. I am looking foward to add more detail in his face today and fix few thing that are out of balance.
