View Full Version : Frame blending...?
LEON_25 04-20-2006, 08:43 AM I have an animation (image sequence) rendered without motion blur and at some points it is verry fast. it requires some motion blur. I`ve tried some frame blending with combustion`s trail blending from time warp. but the result is not what i wanted. The more samples I used, the longer the trail of blur(that of course is because Combustion uses a certain number of pre and post frames interpolated with the current frame). I also tried AfterEffects frame blending. it`s too simple, interpolating just one sample.
Are there other solutions that I could use???

Have you tried the motion blur operator?

i`ve tried it now, but it`s kind of the same thing with trail blending. doesn`t help!

I guess I'm confused on what is wrong with any of the approaches. What specifically needs to be different, perhaps there is a way to 'brute force' a similar result.
