You could try my JSIncidence shader for Maya software renderer (or JS_Incidence for MR). Read more here: http://forums.cgsociety.org/showpost.php?p=3198846&postcount=24

Oh thank you pixero. Well, I'll try your great plugin shader, I'm working on Maya 5.0 and can't use for now. I studied a diffuse wrap renderman shader source, but I didn't knew how to do such a simple shading network with classic nodes. You may know to do do this ?

it just wrap more light arond the object.

How do I actually use the shader, is there a way to connect it to regular material so any material can have this effect?

I'd really like to know Pixero how to set up such a shading network with nodes only. Do you know how to ? :hmm:
